Final Battle

The Final Battle is the best game we ever made. The plot is happening at the age of the knights. Your character is a guy which wakes up in a prison cell with amnesia. He doesn’t even know who he is! Your task is to escape from the prison and find out the entire story behind your capture. And of course try to stay alive...

Instructions:

The point and click interface is as easy as that. You point and click somewhere on the game and you have two options: 'Examine' (Click the eye) or 'Operate' (Click the hand). 'Examine' looks at the spot you clicked and 'Operate' tries to do something with this spot.

Sometimes there are multiple choices that you can do or say. E.g.: 'Take the bottle' and 'Leave the bottle there'. In this case you will see this choice box before the text.
Just click the choice you wish once to select it and once more to activate it. Its as simple as that!

The game is really open. You can go almost wherever you want. If you want to get out of a place and visit another one just 'Operate' on this icon. It means that there is an exit.

This is your characters icon. It shows where you are standing on the place. You can climb ladders, sit on chairs etc. You can 'Use Items from the inventory' to that icon as if you want to 'Operate' something on you. E.g.: If you have a trousers in the inventory and you want to wear it. You must click the trousers and then this icon.

This is the main user interface of the game. The 'heart' shows your lives left. The 'P' shows your current points. 'Menu' goes to the games menus. 'Back arrow' saves and goes to main screen. 'X' button saves and exits the game. The 'Speaker' button mutes the sound and music.

These eight blank spots are your inventory. (Your pockets). Every item you take its stored there. It you take more than eight items then the 'down and up arrows' are activated and you can scroll to view all your items. To 'USE' and item just click it once (gets a red border) and then click the place you want to use it. After you click it once and if you want to cancel that action, just click the 'Eye and Hand button' and you get the normal point and click interface again. You can click an item in the inventory and then click a second item in the inventory if you want to combine two items together.

Transformers G1 : Awakening

It's not a case of being easy; Transformers G1: Awakening is certainly no pushover, but it's one of those rare entity that will even keep players who are clueless when it comes to planning ahead or keeping abreast of statistics enthralled. They may not get very far, but they'll enjoy their time on Awakening, nonetheless. Even the plot, which will be of little consequence to anyone that didn't grow up spending their pocket money on Transformers comics, manages not to get in the way.

It's a refreshing set of attributes for a title that, in terms of both its licence and genre, could easily get wrapped up itself. Luckily, Glu has served up a game that is a celebration to its various inspirations, rather than a slave.

How has this been achieved? At first glance, everything appears as normal. Taking a turn-based approach, you're tasked with moving varying numbers of robots around maps of different shapes and sizes, with ever-changing aims to achieve to secure progress. Each turn allows you to either move or perform an action of some kind – ranging from attacking an enemy robot, restoring health or transforming into the robot's second form to traverse the map in quicker speed.

Tips & Tricks

1. * Capture Pylons and Power Stations to gain more Energon. Use Energon to activate additional units, upgrade units and repair them.
2. * Upgrading your units is sometimes better than activating new ones.
3. * Go to Tech Specs menu to see characteristics of all units presented in the level.
4. * Ranged attack units cannot move and attack in the same turn, but close combat units can.
5. * Not only are TRANSFORMERS in vehicle form faster but they're also slightly tougher, even if they can't attack or return fire.
6. * Rough terrain doesn't just slow you down, it also provides defensive cover. Use it wisely.

Bugs Bunny Rabbits Rescue

Bugs Bunny lets you play the role of director in a number of characteristically violent cartoon sequences featuring several of Warner Bros's most loved characters, including Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam and Marvin the Martian.

Not exactly adopting a standard game blueprint, Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rescue is a turn-based game where you decide which object Bugs should use. The scene unravels regardless though, so if a character is due to enter stage left at a certain point, bashing a door to pieces, that'll happen whether you choose to use a frying pan or a pair of scissors that turn.

To get the scene playing as it should, you need to work out which is the right object to use at each point in time. As the title suggests, Bugs finds himself in a certain amount of peril in each scene, whether looking down the barrel of Fudd's shotgun or Marvin the Martian's laser pistol.

Keeping Bugs safe will normally involve either keeping whoever's after our protagonist dazed and confused or whacking him with something or other.

Underneath the gloss, all there is to Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rescue is finding the order you need to click on a few different objects. As such, the title offers virtually no re-playability and very limited longevity. There are five scenes to play through that get more complicated as you progress, but there's probably less than an hour's gameplay here in the hands of a casual gamer.

However, the charm of the gloss shouldn't be underestimated. The characters all look spot on, with some lovingly rendered animations that re-create the feel of the old-school cartoon they're based on skilfully.

Trying to pre-empt the right objects to use is fun, too. Since each scene plays out much like a face-off from one of the cartoons, a bit of thought pays dividends. In one scene, for example, you have to set off a planet-destroying weapon to get Marvin the Martian in a panic so that he runs into a freezing ray, turning him into a block of ice.

The objects you have at your disposal will relate to different things needed to get these things happening, so you can work the sequences out to an extent, although the game is designed to get you playing through the each scene a few times before finding the perfect order.

The 'set' for each scene is larger than the phone's screen, so the game also gives you a view mode so that you can scroll about and see what sort of objects are scattered around.

Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rescue is a game that you can't help but admire, even though it deserves to be criticised. It doesn't last long and once you've found out the perfect solution for each of the five included scenes, there's no real reason to re-visit.
